All Catholics 14 years and above are expected to abstain from meat or favorite dish or drink on Ash Wednesday, Good Friday and all Fridays of Lent.

All Catholics between the ages of 18 and 60 years of age are obligated to fast as each person decides. The sick, pregnant, and nursing mothers should not fast.

Create time to do special prayers. Study the word of God. Attend daily and Sunday masses. Visit the Lord in a Blessed Sacrament.

Make honest efforts to avoid sin. Make efforts to do good. Be more generous to the needy and to the church. Pay just wages to your workers.

Reconcile with God and with your neighbor. Go to confession. Pray your Rosary daily as you make these special efforts. May God grant your special intentions.

MASS INTENTIONS
It is a wonderful and beautiful part of our Catholic tradition to offer a mass for a loved one, living or deceased. Several dates are available for mass intentions at a cost of $5.00
Please use the mass intention forms that are located in the rear of the church. You can place it in the collection basket or mail it or hand deliver it to the church office.
CCE ATTENDANCE
The CCE program focuses on spiritual growth and the understanding of the Gospel teaching to our youth. Parents, the ultimate goal is youth participation and attendance. Please bring your child/children to CCE each Sunday.

KPC Ladies Auxiliary Court 33 will be selling Fish Dinners, Wednesday, February 18th from 10:00AM to 3:00PM. The menu includes: fish, potato salad, green beans, rice, bread, and cake for $12 per plate. Please come and support this organization.

We encourage you to request a Holy Mass on your birthday and/or anniversary. Please send your mass request at the beginning of the month to the office. On the LAST SUNDAY of each month, those who celebrated their birthday and/or anniversary during the month, will be called to the altar to receive a blessing and immediately afterwards, we will fellowship and enjoy light refreshments in the hall.

To make our worship of God livelier, Fr. Francis is appealing for donations of guitars, tambourines, xylophones, saxophones and musical drums. If God touches your heart to donate any, please do so. May God Bless you!

Our ACM goal for 2026 is $26,527.00
In this year of ACM, we are urging all of the parishioners of Our Mother of Mercy to make a pledge so that we, the Catholic Church, can make a difference in the lives of people throughout the 9 counties of our diocese and right here in our Parish and our neighbors. If you have already made your commitment, THANK YOU! If you have not, please pick up an ACM envelope in the rear of the church.

You are always welcome to our parish. If you are a visitor, please indicate by a wave of your hand to be acknowledged. We are glad you have chosen to worship with us and welcome you into our midst, and pray that God may bless you. Our ushers will have a welcoming package for you at the end of mass.
