APPRECIATION FROM FR FRANCIS
With profound gratitude to God almighty, I thank God for the double celebrations of my installation as Pastor and my 60th birthday. I am thankful for the beautiful weather, for journey mercy granted to those who attended from far and near, for good health, and the strength to carry out our various responsibilities during the ceremonies. I give GOD ALL THE GLORY.
To you my loving, generous, and caring parishioners of Ames and Raywood, please accept my bunch of Thanks. To the secretaries, the choirs, the altar servers, the readers, the ushers, the sacristans, the cleaners in the church and compound, the knights, the caterers, and all of those who worked in private to make the celebrations successful, I thank you so much. May the good Lord reward you abundantly.
Special Thanks to the planning committee. You have sacrificed your time, energy, rest and finance to make sure there were no loopholes anywhere. I thank you exceedingly.
To Brian and Josette Tippens, for me, the highest point of those celebrations was that you traveled to my former parish in Lagos, Nigeria, to interview my parishioners on video about me, unknown to me. Those positive testimonies made my day. Also for hosting the celebration for the two parishes at your home on my behalf. I remain forever grateful for all you did for me. May God bless you richly.
For all those who gave me gifts, the written nice words of compliments and the prayers. I appreciate all. May God reward you all beyond measure.

LITURGICAL MINISTRIES
You can support our liturgical ministries by offering your time and talents as a volunteer. Together, we can make a difference and bless our church, parish and community.
Here are some ways you can help:
- Ministers of the Word (Lectors): Proclaim the scriptures during Mass.
- Eucharistic Ministers: Assist the clergy in distributing Holy Communion.
- Hospitality/Ushers: Greet parishioners, assist with seating, hand out flyers and weekly bulletins, and take up the collection.
- Altar Servers: Assist the priest at the altar during Mass and special liturgies.
- Music Ministry: Join/Support the choir by singing, donating musical instruments, or playing an instrument.
- Sacristans & Environment: Set up liturgical vessels or help decorate the church for different seasons.
By working together, we can make a difference!

The CCE program focuses on spiritual growth and the understanding of the Gospel teaching to our youth. Parents, the ultimate goal is youth participation and attendance. Please bring your child/children to CCE each Sunday

VIRTUS REGISTRATION UPDATE
There are certain requirements that must be followed in the Diocese when being a volunteer for the church. All Volunteer ministries must be Virtus trained and be in compliance to volunteer. If you are a team leader, you must submit to the office a listing of your team members and verify they have been Virtus trained. We still have parishioners who are not in compliance. VISITORS ARE WELCOME HERE
You are always welcome to our parish. If you are a visitor, please indicate by a wave of your hand to be acknowledged. We are glad you have chosen to worship with us and welcome you into our midst, and pray that God may bless you. Our ushers will have a welcoming package for you at the end of mass
BIRTHDAYS AND ANNIVERSARIES
We encourage you to request Masses on your birthday and/or anniversary. Please send your mass request at the beginning of the month to the office. On the LAST SUNDAY of each month, those who celebrated their birthday and/or anniversary during the month, will be called to the altar to receive a blessing and immediately afterwards, we will fellowship and enjoy light refreshments in the hall.
***July birthdays/anniversaries will be combined with the August birthdays/anniversaries on August 30th***

To make our worship of God livelier, Fr. Francis is appealing for donations of guitars, tambourines, xylophones, saxophones and musical drums. If God touches your heart to donate any, please do so. May God Bless you!

Communion visits are available to the sick and homebound every Sunday. Please contact the church office for more information
CANDLE PURCHASE
Starting April 1, 2026, the cost of individual candles will be $4 per candle and $45 for a case of candles.
